WATER SAFETY

The Multicultural Council of Wagga Wagga is funded by the New South Wales Government - Office of Emergency Management

The project aims to engage with local community members from the humanitarian entrant, migrant and international student populations in a range of programs to build knowledge and skills around how to engage safely in and around the water, including how to identify potential dangers and respond in emergency situations.

The program includes

• Intensive Swim to Survive programs
• CPR and River Safety training
• Development of culturally appropriate resources
